Set of 2 Hand Carved Ceramic Cauldron Pots. I threw these clay vessels on the pottery wheel, both out of white clay. One was painted with a black underglaze and then carved into, revealing the design in white clay. The other was carved into as the first step, followed by a layer of the same black underglaze, but in this case it was wiped away in all but the carved areas, revealing the design. They are siblings, in my minds eye. The designs that are carved into the pots are starry woodlands of the understory, with ferns and twisting twirling plant vines. They are safe for food and beverage. Pots each measure approximately 3" high and 3.5" diameter, and each hold approximately 12 oz. fluids. Please hand wash and handle with care!
