This is a ceramic mug thrown on a wheel and embellished with a clay butterfly on the side. It is glazed a dark blue with hints of green and pops of crystal blue. On the heavier side as to not tip over. This mug can hold 12 oz of liquid and is food safe and dishwasher safe but I recommend always hand washing. Pottery is a slow art, first it must be formed, then dried, then fired, then glazed, then fired again before it is ready to use.
